Nature Contemplation
It is a known fact that nature contemplation is one of the best therapy practices for one’s health. At the same time, a lot of health issues originate from the stress, which nature observations quickly fixes. Every one of us has this experience, when you are full of energy, got fresh ideas and the worries seem less of an issue just after a brisk walk in a park. There is no magic here! We, humans, are a part of nature even if we tend not to remember it. Luckily, nature does not forget as we do, and so, sometimes we just need to sit and rest. Walk barefoot, feel Mother Earth, ask it to help you. And it will, I promise! Hence, reconnecting you. Mighty ocean, enchanted forest, inaccessible mountains, serene lakes… Just what you need sometimes.

2010-2016 Wallpapers

Plitvice Lakes in Croatia looks like a scene from a fairy tales. I couldn’t believe my eyes – cascading waterfalls, autumn colours around, wooden trails, huge fishes under the bridge footpath. The water is so pure, it turns literally invisible. And then I saw the sun rays beaming through the dense autumn foliage. Unbelievable sight.

Something unbelievable and something that can’t usually happen – heavy clouds in a desert. The contrast brings a sense of power and magic of the moment.
Australia, Port Stephens, Stockton Beach.

Crystal clear water. And the same cold! This place rejuvenates you greatly.
Dove Lake, Cradle Mountains National Park, Tasmania, Australia.

I was shocked to find out that I forgot the tripod platform… So there was no way to place a camera on the tripod! But I wasn’t confused and was just pressing the camera to the tripod during every shot. There were many blurry shots, but of course, there were enough sharp ones.
Garie Beach, Garie, NSW

After the sunset desert. Sand reflects sky lighting, the air is full of magic…
Stockton Beach, Port Stephens, Australia.

Wet rocks and foggy horizon together with red sunrise light make the mysterious atmosphere.
South Coogee, Sydney.

When you are tired, when you need rest from everything and everyone… minimalism – is your choice.
Stockton Beach, Port Stephens, Australia

Nothing feels like seeing first orange bright light after some cold deep blue twilight. It feels like magic or something wonderful.
Hua Hin, Thailand

Tamarama Beach, Sydney, Australia

These are called “tea tree” or Melaleuca or paperbark. The park after the rain has vast pools, which is why the area is called a swamp, but the trees feel good in such an environment.
Centennial Park, Randwick, NSW, Australia

Some places over the coast get lots of water during high tide and then keep it clean and transparent, which allows seeing everything underwater.
Long Bay, Malabar, NSW, Australia

This majestic forest background was created in Crimea during the autumn. Just imagine total silence with a gentle leaves rustle and a warm pleasant light shining through the branches. You walk this soft carpet and breath in all the autumn odours.

For some unknown reason, I could never get those awesome sun rays beaming through the fog and trees. So on this morning I finally got some luck and managed to capture a little bit of what I wanted.

Another autumn landscape, which I did just 300m from home. The best things usually happen at home.
2017 Wallpapers

I grew a little tired of all action and drama and moody shots. I felt the urge for something lively and bright and green. So I ventured to the Centennial Park as it’s the most appropriate place I know in Sydney. Providing the sky was crystal clear I’ve got some nice strong light. Found this gorgeous tree and spent the evening next to it.

It happened during a beautiful sunny and stormy day. It’s been so pleasant to do a coastal walk and to shoot some huge waves. The waves were around 3 meters tall. Also, some rogues waves can be twice higher. The best thing I love about shooting the waves is when the Sun is above and behind making such glorious colours on the surface.

An incoming storm cloud just yesterday in Sydney at Coogee Beach. I love how the dark sky revealed the true water color here! Tried to do a timelapse, but memory card has unexpectedly become full and the next one didn’t insert properly and all sequence was lost… So, have this ocean wallpaper instead.
2018 Wallpapers

It’s been a long-term dream – to shoot some trees with sunrays. I never managed to witness these conditions for some reason. Possibly due to the fact that I shoot a lot of seascapes, not the forest. But on this day I just couldn’t leave and I kept shooting while the light was good.

I have found this place and really wanted to get some fog in the area. So I kept an eye on the weather conditions. This morning the dew point was +19C and the forecast for the morning was +21C with over 90% humidity and no wind. So, I figured I had a pretty good chance of getting some fog because the area had a river and a forest and it could make it a few degrees lower. You can imagine my excitement when I entered the park with a thick fog!

A lot of people think there is no autumn in Australia. It is true for most of the coast but totally different for the mountains. I travelled a bit to the private gardens to find this beautiful red maple tree. Autumn is amazing!
