The Mountains
Mountain is a large part of the land towering over the surrounding area. They are formed by the inner forces of the Earth, by the tectonic shifts or volcanoes. An average mountain has a vast lifespan, although it is also limited as the erode and the tectonic plates keep moving as well. Mountains have always attracted people for many reasons. It is a challenge, it is an escape, it is an adventure, and of course, it is beautiful. Every synonym of beautiful perfectly applies to the mountain landscape – majestic, amazing, impressive and much more.
Mountain Scenery
Mountain photography like any other type requires preparation and certain skills. First, if you go hiking, then it’s likely to be a multi-day hike if you want incredible mountain pictures. You will need a tent, a huge backpack, and a good amount of strong words to do the hike. The second thing you need is willpower. You will use it right away during the climb, but you will need it, even more, to wake up for sunrise! To get out of the warm (hopefully) sleeping bag and venture towards the unknown. I’ve seen a lot of people unable to wake up after the climb. But then, why bother and hike at all?
Locations
This gallery has two main areas covered in it: the Carpathian Mountains, Ukraine, and a variety of places on the New Zealand South Island, including Mt John, Mt Cook, Mt Sealy, Roys Peak, Queenstown Hill, and Milford Sound. And a little bit of Australian Blue Mountains of course. The Carpathian Mountains are mostly grassy, while the mountains in New Zealand are rockier and look wilder.
