Real Estate Images

Clean and decluttered living room with no sight obstacles also showing ample space

Please read about Real Estate Photography.

Real estate photos can serve many reasons – showing a portfolio, selling a house, printing for the long-lasting memories, visualising the future furniture, renting it all out, etc. Every case is somewhat unique but they all have something in common – they all should show the spirit of the property, the essence of it. This is one of the two main reasons to hire a professional photographer. The other reason is, of course, the quality. People tend to think it’s ok to snap a few shots with their phone or even a camera. But all they get is brownish walls, blown highlights and crooked verticals. These photos do not look welcoming or inviting.

Real Estate Images Editing

A photographer knows when to take the photos, how to light the area and how to edit the photos afterwards. The editing is a very important part of the process and could take the same amount of time as the actual shooting. Some really hardcore real estate photos could take much longer than the photography session. A big room with the view windows and uneven profile can easily take a whole hour by itself to edit properly. A twilight exterior shot can consist of ten to fifteen exposures blended together.

Real estate photography is more technical than creative, it requires certain skills in lighting, photography and editing. And, of course, a sense of composition to make it look neat and tidy and allow the viewer to perceive and digest a whole photo in a second. Because most likely they won’t spend another second on it – the market has a lot to offer. Therefore, real estate photos make your listing and your portfolio stand out among the competitors.
